About The Owner 

So my name is Matthew and I’m 19 years old from England. I started this blog on October 2nd 2010. I started it as there wasn’t many other Scream blogs on Tumblr, so I thought why not, and I’m obsessed with the Scream movies, and they are my favourite movies of all time. I make my own GIFs & Edits and I also like to reblog other peoples GIFs & Edits so I can help spread other Scream fans love of Scream. I also love to talk to fellow Scream fans and my followers about Scream. So please feel free to ask me anything.

The first time I watched a Scream movie was, I think, Scream 2. I say ‘I think’ because this was about 10+ ears ago so I don’t really remember. But I remember watching Scream 2 on Channel 4 on a Sunday night, or as my mother called it, Scary Movie 2. I turned it on when Sidney and Dewey were talking at the beginning of the movie, so I had missed the beginning of the movie. And as my mother said it was Scary Movie 2, I actually thought it was a sequel to Scary Movie. But yeah I loved the movie and wanted to see the first one once I realised it wasn’t Scary Movie 2. Then I watched Scream. I watched Scream on a tape.. or a VHS. I think it was my nanas haha! I was then hooked. Now all I needed to see was Scream 3. I waited and finally it came on Channel 4 one night. I remember seeing the advert for it and I was very excited. I think it might have been a Friday, or a Sunday. And I got in bed and watched the whole movie. The opening was amazing, and the whole movie scared me. So after I watched Scream 3 it made me even more addicted to the movies. I ended up recording Scream & Scream 3 on tape so I always had it, and I stole my nana’s Scream 2 VHS, which I still have.

I think the next Christmas my parents bought me the Scream Trilogy box set. I mean it wasn’t even my ‘big’ present but I didn’t know they were getting me it and I was so happy, it ended up being one of my favourite presents that year.
